I have fallen in love...again!

Oh...my Emma...Fourteen months ago when I found out I was pregnant, I began to fall in love with Emma. With every passing month I grew attached to her on so many levels..On January 25th, 2008...I gave birth to a miracle..an angel...I loved her the minute the nurse held her up and said "Say hello to your mama"! This was a feeling like no other...Less than five seconds, and I will always remember the massive emotions felt...in just five seconds...If only I could go back to that day....I would savor the moment even more!

A few hours ago I was put Emma down for the night. I rolled her over to give her a kiss and tell her that I loved her...Like usual,our eyes locked and we both smiled....but this time it was different...She looked into my eyes...she touched my heart, and she smiled...Her arm reached out and she grabbed my nose...and she touched my heart...This single moment....this is the day I can tell you I am IN LOVE with Emma...I love her smile, her cries, her temper, her big blue eyes, her many, many expressions...and her sweet-ness...
She stole my heart again today..yet this time, she claimed ownership of the half Olyvia left specifically for her sister...Agh...I can remember the day I fell madly in love with Olyvia....
So...this is what it is all about...

First Official Day of Summer!

Today kicked off the first official day of summer..YIPPEE!!!

The only thing I hear Olyvia say these days is, "Shoes", "outside"....so cute!! She now has twenty two pairs of shoes..cute shoes, seriously...However, like many twenty month old's, she likes the broken, cheap blue crocs...When I say blue, I mean the ugliest blue you have ever seen! So blue it is, every single day!
She loves walks, swimming, her swing set, and playing with Little People on our back deck. We sit for hours watching her as that little imagination goes crazy.... Of course she is in love with the neighborhood kids who cannot get enough of Livy and Emma...They are a BIG help!!
Olyvia starts Kindermusik ,, on Wednesday June 24th. I cannot wait! I think she is going to love it! Emma is able to attend and begin watching and listening to the music. This way she will be ready for classes next year!

Our first family vacation!

We went to Santa Rosa Beach, Florida for a family wedding!! What a wonderful time we had!! Olyvia was amazed by the beach...It is always an enlightening moment for me when I watch the wonder in Olyvia's eyes as she embraces new experiences for the first time! She was one of the flower girls in the wedding...thanks Kelly and Brandon, we had a wonderful time!
