Olyvia is 19 months old!!!!!!!!!!!

Our first family vacation!

We went to Santa Rosa Beach, Florida for a family wedding!! What a wonderful time we had!! Olyvia was amazed by the beach...It is always an enlightening moment for me when I watch the wonder in Olyvia's eyes as she embraces new experiences for the first time! She was one of the flower girls in the wedding...thanks Kelly and Brandon, we had a wonderful time!

"First's" for Emsley.....

It is hard to believe that Emsley is four months old. Every day I am amazed at her beautiful spirit and warm smile. She surprises us constantly by showing off what she learns daily. She is able to sit up by herself, and if she can get those hips going she will be rolling over in no time!! She has also received her first solid food, rice cereal! As you can see by the looks of her, she cannot get enough! At fifteen pounds she is a very healthy girl! I was looking over pictures of her birthday and I cannot get over how much she has changed. Congratulations Emma on all of your milestones in four short months!

Referral day anniversary!

First photograph of Olyvia!

One year later....

It is hard to believe...One year ago today we were waking up from a good nights sleep unaware of what the morning would bring. Within hours we received the first photos of Olyvia and the shocking news that we were pregnant!
I think back to that day..that glorious day...God's plan worked out...and now I look at my hectic life and think to myself, "Could I be any luckier"???
Today I took Olyvia to Independance Grove, just the two of us...We spent the day laughing and playing. I told her, although she does not understand yet, how lucky I was to have her, and how she is "Mommy and Daddy's answered prayer"....I kissed her repeatedly and reminded her how she has made mommy's life so complete...I went home and ended the day with my Emma...the baby who a year ago was only a peanut in my belly. The baby who was never to be, and almost wasn't...The child that medical science told me would never come, but whose life was taken into the hands of God.... She is our miracle baby...
Today I thank God for so much...This date, June 6th will always be the MOST amazing day in my life. A day I will celebrate for eternity...it is the day I witnessed two TRUE miracles, and the day I became a mother to two amazing children.
Today my girls are thriving....Things could not be anymore hectic, but things are good...
June 6th...what a wonderful, wonderful miraculous day!!!!!!
